Information

Guar Gum Powder is obtained from the endosperm of the seed of guar plant cyamopsis tetragonolobus. Guar Gum is a highmolecular weight polysaccharide which has a mannose backbone of galactose side chain. Guar is a natural vegetable hydrocolloid which does not require heat to develop full viscosity.
Storage conditions: Store in dry, cool and ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight.

Applications

Guar Gum is used for its thickening, stabilizing and emulsifying properties in food industry: ice creams, dairy products, instant soups, confectionary, etc. Used traditionally in the food industry, it is increasingly used in the hydraulic fracturing industry, also in pharmaceutical, paper and textile industries.
