Dolomite is a naturally occurring mineral and rock consisting mainly of calcium magnesium carbonate. It is characterized by a variety of properties. Dolomite comes in a variety of colors, from white to grey to pink, yellow or brown, depending on its geological origin and the impurities it contains. It is less hard than many other rocks and can be used in the construction industry as a building block or filler for road and building construction projects.
