Applications

Applications in the refractory industry include shaped and unshaped products, such as bricks or specially shaped products e.g. sliding gates, porous plugs for steel ladles and shaped products for the glass industry. Furthermore, kiln furniture such as ceramic wheels are produced for the application in ceramic kilns. Another application of the tabular balls is the filtering in aluminum metal production.
